Blueberry tassies & Marbled brownies

It was a busy day last Saturday, phew! I can't believe that I actually spent almost the whole day just for baking. I actually wanted to make some desserts for the BBQ party on Saturday night and I thought that well, just making two desserts are very simple, coz the recipe looks simple. But then wow! The 'simple' is actually not simple at all. 
First, I started my marbled brownies, this looked a little bit more difficult than my blueberry tassies. So I started to mix all the stuffs. 

I can't stop saying this, but my chocolate mixture really looks like shit...lol
And the there goes my cheese mixture and swirl it all around with the chocolate mixture.

Oops, too much chocolate perhaps or too less cheese mixture.

Well, I was hoping that this can really turns well coz the previous brownies I made was undercooked and I was forced to throw them all away. 
The most crucial moment is when the brownies is set and you need to cut it, and when the knife comes out clean, you really feel very thrill coz all your hard work pays off. Next will be tasting moment.

Mmmmm.....I loved it! Even though I had put too less cheese, but the brownies turned out to be just nice, a little bit creamy and smells so butter chocolate. 

Alright, my 3 hours in the morning gone just for the marbled brownies. Then, followed by my blueberry tassies. I gotta tell you, this is awesome! And another 4 hours of my afternoon gone just for this so simple recipe. Actually things can be very simple if I can find the right equipment, however, the shop is not selling the exact mould that I wanted. So I have to choose the closest mould but more time will be required.

The paste actually doesn't turned out as I wanted, but at least I made it not too soft so that it can hold the fillings. And there goes my yummy blueberry into the base. They actually smells very good even before baking. Fingers crossed!

They turned out just like a small sunflower and they were sure lovely. Again, felt so happy and all my time spent were worth it! Surely, my friends all enjoyed this dessert very much! I did enjoy the BBQ party as well. It was a lot of fun to gathered together, chatting and laughing, and most important to have all these sincere and true friends ;)
